Texas Holdem – Going All In With Less Money Than Other Players #2

When punting in Texas Holdem, going all in with less money than other players usually isn’t the best idea. The reasons are plentiful, and this article will explain a couple of them. Read on now to find out.

No Limit Texas Holdem is a great game isn’t it? The fact that you can bet as much as you like, up to no limit, at any time makes it extremely entertaining and exciting. There’s no better feeling then going all in and crushing an opponent with sheer superior force.

When you go all in and win, it’s like the cards don’t even matter it was just your power at the table playing the game. Sometimes you can do this over and over again because your stack is so big. On the other hand though, you may have a small stack, and in this situation going all in with less money than other players doesn’t have the same impact as when you have a monster stack.

A Tip Top Reason For Going All In With Less Money Than Other Players

When you have less money than other players and you go all in it doesn’t have the same affect then if you have the same size stack or a large stack. This is because you opponent can call you with less risk because if he loses then he won’t be out. You on the other hand are risking everything on this one hand.

However, if you have a small stack going all in may just well be the best move you can make. You can’t exactly muster up a huge amount of force in any event, but going all in is the maximum you can do. If you are just betting the size of the big blind, or making normal bets like everyone else, you may well find yourself starving for chips even more and more and sooner or later you will just starve to death.

When you have a small stack you can’t play the same as when you have a big stack. You have to grasp at opportunities. You need to muster up everything you can each and every hand in order to claw your way back into the game. Remember, no one likes to lose chips and even though your opponents can afford to lose to you they don’t want to. They don’t want to have their stack get smaller and your stack get bigger.
