The first thing you absolutely must be doing if you aren’t already is performing blind steals. When you are in late position or the cutoff and no one contests the pot make a big raise to steal the blinds.

Plus, you need to realize when you are in earlier positions and those later positions raise out… well.. they don’t actually have anything. Get it?

The next thing any solid player will always be using is positional play. That is, they will only ever play pots against you when they are in position.
Do you often find yourself out of position? Do you not even know what position is? Are you always the first to act and always having someone come over the top of you? This means that you aren’t playing from position nearly enough and you are suffering from it. Get smart, get in position.

The third thing that is the most commonly known thing about poker yet the most underutilized move in poker is the humble bluff. Let me ask you this, how often do you bluff?
If the answer is zero or not often you aren’t bluffing enough. This is probably because you are confident in how to do it properly, or don’t know when to do it, or some other information/knowledge based insufficiency. My best advice to you is to go out and learn how to bluff as it will increase your overall profits by, say, 20%.
